Artcetera is happy to announce it's 2nd Anniversay. In these ever so difficult times a dream and vision endures. I began the concept of Artcetera back in October of 2007. The store opened on March 28th, 2008. In the two years that followed, we all experienced a crashing economy and some very tough times. Artcetera had to evolve with the times and I believe it has. All the while, Artcetera stuck to it's core concept of domestically hand-made and original giftware, quality artwork, and expert Custom Picture Framing. It also stuck to it's core values of friendly and caring customer service.
I added products in the $5.00 to $25.00 range, Artcetera became a known destination for local artists to display their work, and I expanded my own offerings of my original artwork. Masterpiece Mini's at only $22.50 became Artcetera's most popular product.
Friday night Artist Events continued, this season encorporating charities that included the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society, Autism, and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. I'm proud to say donations of several hundred dollars were made in the past year.
And, lastly, but, certainly not least, Artcetera has been nominated by the Boca Raton Forum as one of the "Best of Boca" Custom Picture Framers. 2010 and beyond remain a challenge for Artcetera.
